LazyListen + Zapier

Turn articles and newsletters into private podcast episodes.

Send LazyListen a public URL or pasted text from any Zap. LazyListen queues a private episode, lets your workflow check its progress, and returns the finished episode when it is ready.

A real end-to-end workflow

From something worth reading to something you can hear.

The integration exposes one action and two lookups so a Zap can create, monitor, and retrieve a private episode without making the audio public.

1

Create a private episode job

Provide exactly one public article or newsletter URL, or paste up to 12,000 characters of text.

2

Check generation status

Use the returned job ID to see whether the episode is pending, processing, ready, or failed.

3

Retrieve the finished episode

When the job is ready, retrieve its title, transcript excerpt, private episode link, and authenticated audio link.

Private by default

Your automation does not make your episode public.

Zapier receives access only to the connected LazyListen account. Job and episode reads are owner-scoped, and completed episodes remain private unless you deliberately publish them elsewhere.

Built for useful automation

Good source in. Listen-ready episode out.

Use it for newsletters, saved reading, research links, RSS items, or approved internal text. Private jobs are rate-limited and reject private-network URLs.
